The Kek Lok Si Temple is a Buddhist temple that situated in Air Itam in Penang and is one of the best known temples on the island. The temple was constructed in year 1893 and its main attraction is the enormous striking seven-storey Pagoda of Rama Vl  (Pagoda of 10,000 Buddhas) , which was completed in year 1930. Currently, the Pagoda is the largest of its kind in Malaysia. The high towering view is very attracting enough for the visitors to take photo of it.

Furthermore, at the Kek Lok Si Temple ground, it has gardens and sacred pond. One of the famous ponds is the '' The Liberation Pond'' (Sacred Turtle Pond) where you can buy vegetables and feed the turtles.   Another popular highlight is the 30.2 m bronze statue of Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy, which is also a breathtaking view for photo capture. Some souvenir shops are available there as well so visitors can buy some memorial things to recognize their Kek Lok Si Temple trip.
