Starting the business since 1943, the famous Nasi Kandar Beratur got its name from the long queue of people outside the shop. Be ready and patience to line up for about 30 minutes to get yourself served as it is indeed a lot of people will go for it! Nasi Kandar is an another masterpiece of Mamak of this cultural city. Well , it is a plate of fragrant white rice where a mixed curry sauce is poured onto it, and making the rice is fulled with aromatic but not too spicy smell. This such awesome dish will be a memorable taste for the customers. Besides that, the shop also provide other Mamak dishes like fried chicken, mutton or beef to be served together with the Nasi Kandar. The restaurant is not hard to find as it is just located beside the Keling Mosque.
